Searching – Carter’s BLONDE PIGTAILS PRINCESS DOLL Wearing LAVENDER DRESS & HOLDING a FROG
I’m looking for a blond pigtails Carter’s doll wearing a lavender dress and tiara and holding a frog.My 3 year old daughter takes this doll wherever she goes, and we lost her picking up her older siblings at school 2 days ago. I’ve scoped out the school and the lost and found, because this has happened before. The Lord has always made “dolly” find her way back to us, but not this time. She’s so upset and is really upset at night going to bed without her.
She’s really beat up from all the love she’s given, so I have been apprehensive about buying a new one. I don’t think it will be the same to her. A used one would be better in my opinion. Thanks so much for your time. This is a wonderful service you provide.

I had already given her that link, but she's concerned that it is in "too good" condition. I suggested getting it dirty and washing it a few times. LOL
get the new one and tell her the dolly went to the cleaners. or to the spa. Just make sure to hide the old one, or she might want both

A dolly that returned refreshed from the spa is better than no dolly at all. And, well if it isn't then you'll have a nice keepsake to remember her toddler years. I bet she would surely cherish it down the road 😉

The only problem I see in waiting it out for a "worn" dolly is that most sellers (like me) would not even attempt to list something in visibly worn condition. I have found that even if I state the degree of damage – small stain, peeling, etc. some buyers who don't read the ad carefully will ding your stars of leave less than desirable feedback.
I agree with the other posters, this is a very hard to find Carters dolly and having a newer one is better than none at all. I fear if you are waiting for a worn one you maybe out of luck. My little one lost his lovey yrs ago and I explained to him that when teddy bears get tired and loved a bit too much that the Teddy Bear Fairy will come and take the old one and fix it up like new so that his friend could play with him forever.
