The face of the fox Allison is looking for looks a lot like the one in this photo. Thanks to Tonya, one of our Fabulous Finders, we now know that this is a RUSS fox.

Hi, I’m looking for a reddish-brown and white stuffed fox with suede leather paw pads, in a sitting position, with a thread nose, and the name “Sly” on his tag. I would guess that from head to toe he is a foot or maybe a little more. His legs bend at the torso, so that he can sit or kick his legs. I don’t know the brand, but was thinking Russ or Gund for some reason. He came with a red ribbon around his neck. His tag was on the left side (I think) of his bottom, and it said “Sly”. He’s at least 10 years old, maybe 15.

My older brother got this toy for me when we were little, and he was my favorite! Sadly, he’s gone (is he a real fox now, like the Velveteen Rabbit?)
